Searching For "kenshole's"
My great-grandfather Emanuel built and lived in a house named Weatherall in Weatherall Street at the turn of the 18/19th centuries. His sons Charles and William became well-known solicitors, and together with brother George were responsible for the rebuilding of the General Hospital, and the endowment of the Kenshole Children's Ward, which is there to this day. My grandfather Henry (Harry) was the youngest of the family, and became an Engineer, working at several of the local hospitals (e.g Bridgend). Through the kindness of 2 GFHS members, I have been provided with some information about the family, derived from the W W Pryce collection in the Central Library, however any further information would be gratefully received.
