red mail Howell near Point of Ayr - (Talacre - Flintshire)
Hi. Looking for Howell that may have lived in the NW Flintshire area around 1600-1700. Ethelred Edward Howell emigrated to VA around 1650-80 and is said to have come from either Ayrshire Wales or Ayrshire Scotland as there isn't an Ayrshire Wales and no record (as yet) of a Howell in 17th century Ayrshire I'm thinking he was actually from Flintshire. DNA evidence of relatives in Shropshire could support this. Any help appreciated.

I am trying to trace Sarah Eliza Williams in 1901. She would have been about 29 and not living with her parents (Abel and Hannah had died by then). Her marriage certificate for sept 1901 says Belmont Terrace, Ysceifiog - but I can find no trace of this?? Sarah married Robert Evans, and again there is no trace of him in the 1901 census. At his marriage he gives his address as Trellyniau Cilcen??

Catherine Williams - (Ysgeifiog, Ysceifiog - Flintshire)
Catherine Williams (born abt. 1847-died 1931)) married my great grandfather William Copland (1849-1903). Her mother was Sarah Griffiths and her father was Michael Williams (apparently, he was killed when a threshing machine fell on him in 1865). Catherine's sisters were Mary, Sarah and Elisabeth. Some of the Williams' family graves are in the churchyard. Elisabeth married William Spencer. A grand daughter of Michael and Sarah was Ruth. Any help in discovering more about the family would be gratefully received.
