I am looking for information on John HAMILTON who died in 1907 at Ederney and was buried in the family grave at Irvinestown.
red mail Irvinestown McElroy
My Grandfather Henry McElroy was born in Glenall Irvinestown in 1877. According to the 1911 Census he was one of nine McElroy children probably all older than him as his mother was in her 40's by 1877. One sister Susan was still at home at the 1901 and 1911 Census. Grandad Henry and his wife Mary Martin emigrated to Glasgow around 1913 but I'd love to know who the other McElroy childrren were and if any of them have descendants. My Great grandparents were William McElroy and Elizabeth McQuaid both still alive at the 1811 Census,
red mail Mary and Catherine Armstrong
I am looking for Armstrong sisters Mary (born c.1822) and Catherine (born c. 1825), who likely lived in or around the area of Lowtherstown. Father was William Armstrong (born c.1782) and mother Catherine Bleakley or Blakeley (born c. 1796). We believe that the father died in Ireland in the 1840s. Siblings Isabella, William, Jane, and Thomas immigrated to Australia in the 1850s; mother as well. She died in Ashfield, NSW, Australia in 1868. Isabella appears to have returned to Ireland, where she remained. I have no information on Mary and Catherine or if they married or immigrated to Australia or remained in Ireland. I would also love to find the cause and death date of the father.
red mail NOBLE
William NOBLE was born in Irvinestown, 1794. He married Margaret (born 1798 Irvinestown, no record of her maiden name) and they had a daughter, Martha NOBLE born 1820, Irvinestown.
