I am looking for anyone who has connections with the following name - Arthur John or John Arthur NUNN. John was reputedly born in either London, Kent or Essex c1875 and he served the 6th Dragoon Guards, apparently married Amy PHILLIPS, born Birmingham 1876 to John PHILLIPS and Eliza (PITCHFORD). I have been unable to find the marriage details anywhere. He may have died before 1915 or been declared deceased as he deserted Amy, leaving her with 2 small children. Children of marriage were: Alice Maud b1896 d1973 (my grandmother) and Arthur John b1899 d1931 (suicide). I have been to the TNA, FHC and local studies section at the Birmingham Central Library but haven't had any luck so far. Any information would be welcome and I would offer help if it's required for the Birmingham area.
I am looking for any information on a John Horsnell who was born 1812 in Essex (probably BRentwood or Chelmsford). He supposedly attending Woodham Walter Anglican Church (was when Rev. Guy Bryan was minister). John married in 1838-39. John & wife (u/known) left England in 1839 for Australia. He had approx. 16 siblings (one was Octavius). Don't know his parents names (may have been William & Mary) - father was supposed to be a Wine Merchant/Importer, also worked as a Rent Collector for High Sherriff of Essex. Any help with the Horsnell family of Essex would be greatly appreciated.

My great, great, great grandfather, Joseph Beckwith (1809-1878) married Rebecca Davey (1801-1890) in 1827. Their eldest son William Beckwith (1828-1864) married Sarah Ann Garrett (1830-1863) in 1848 and with their two children Emma(2) and Alfred(1) emigrated to Melbourne, Australia, departing Plymouth on 16 Dec.1851 on the barque Lady Elgin, arriving in Melbourne on 26 Mar.1852. William and Sarah's third child, Joseph William Beckwith (my great grandfather) was born in Australia in 1852 soon after their arrival. William's parents, Joseph and Rebecca Beckwith, also emigrated to Melbourne 1856 with their children Elizabeth(27), Anthony(22), Elijah(13) and Walter(10) on the barque Earl Grey, arriving in Melbourne in June 1856. My Great-Great Grandmother was called Sarah Elizabeth Ventris. Born 9th july 1857 at 3 Parliament Square , Bethnal Green London. She died on 10th August 1941 at the age of 84. She married Robert Thomas Porter and they lived in 1901 in 18 Gibbins Road, Stratford. Her father was called George Ventris Born 1829 and died 1890. He was interred in Chingford. His wife was called Sarah Elizabeth Murral. Does anyone have any information on the ventris side of this family.

Looking for any information on William Collier Westerby, born c1849 Barking Essex. He later dropped the Westerby and was known as a Collier, as were his children. William married Jane Gosling. Jane was also born in Essex. They spent most of theirlives living in Prittlewell. William's father was also William Collier Westerby and mother Leah (I think). There must have been some sort of family fall out because William did not include his father's name on his marriage certificate. Family stories say that there is a link between these Collier's and Collier Row, Romford Essex, but I have yet to determine what that is! Any help appreciated.
