red mail Wallaker, Pomphrey, Pomfrey, Brewer, Rand
Members of the WALLAKER family moved from Kedington to Steeple around 1790/1810. James Wallaker married Susan POMPHREY at Steeple in 1792. His brother Timothy married Mary BREWER in 1808. A third brother, Robert, married Sarah POMFREY (a sister of Susan, despite the different spelling?) in 1788. Their son, James, who was one of five children, married Rhoda RAND (also known as Rhoda NUNN) in 1831, and had twelve children. Is anyone researching any of these families?
red mail WALDEN
I'm interested in information about the family of James and Sarah WALDEN, living in Steeple in the 1840's. Does anyone out there have them on their family tree?
Would be interested to hear from anyone with info on the Jennings family - Robert born about 1814 in Althorne, Mary his wife born about 1812 in Steeple. Had Robert born about 1834,in Steeple, Eliza b. c 1837 in Latchingdon and Sarah Ann born c 1839 and probably others.
red mail SPOONER
Trying to find any connection with a John Spooner b1809 in Steeple Essex. He later moved to Bethnal Green in London. I have no information on his own children but his Grandchildren were John Spooner b1857, Benjamin b1860 and Fanny b1861. I am particuarly interested in Benjamin b1860 in Bethnal Green who later had a child called John Spooner b1892 also in Bethnal Green.
