John Dansey married Eliza Judd in 1849 in Stapleford Abbotts and they had a child Emma Frances Dansey in December 1849 in Navestock and then Lydia Mary in 1852 and Frederick in 1854 and remained in Navestock before we find them in Wanstead in 1856. Can anyone add any detail, particularly to Eliza's family? She came from Shallow Bowells. Also, It is possible that John lived in Stapleford Abbotts before he met Eliza.

red mail Sarah Wood / Purcell 1734 - 1792
Sarah Wood was baptised 12 November 1734 at Navestock. I see that there is at least one other Wood buried at the churchyard but (1) Wood is a popular name and (2) it is a very corroded stone. She married at Great Warley, Essex (about ten miles to the south from Navestock) in 1766 to Henry Purcell 1739 - 1802. He was 'of Hertfordshire'. I have no idea if he was a kinsman to the famous composer, but it is not that common a name....and speculation is free. (This) Henry Purcell and his wife Sarah emigrated to Charleston, South Carolina, arriving (we think) in October 1771. We think their childrens' names included Sarah, Ann, Henry, Jane and Henry - so no usefully unusual given names there. The daughter who most directly interests me married , probably as his second (or subsequent) wife, and probably in Charleston, SC to Alexander Gillon 1741 - 1794. I'd welcome the oppotunity to exchange further genealogical information concerning any of these families. (Other sons in law might have been named Serizier and White, though here I am becoming less confident of my ground.)
