red mail Frances DIGBY of Ingatestone
Looking for the Ingatestone PRs online if at all possible. I did find them at the Essex Record Office in their SEAX online records but unfortunately they haven't added the year I'm looking for yet. Was wondering if anyone had transcribed them and put them online somewhere? I'm looking for the baptism of Frances Digby who said in the 1851 census she was born in Ingatestone (she was aged 63 so born about 1787), she died soon after so that's the only census I'll get a birthplace from for her. Frances married twice, firstly to John Banks in 1810 at Westminster and secondly to Thomas Hartnup in 1842 at Whitechapel. She died in the 2qtr of 1851 reg in West Ham. Would love to hear from any Digby or Ingatestone researchers. dawn, nz

red mail Ingatestone R.C. baptism records
FARROW. I underwtand that my grandfather W R T Farrow, born in Ingatestone 1832, and his mother Ann Farrow were Catholics. I understand that St. Jon the Evangelist & St Erconwald is the Ingatestone R.C. Parish church. I will be grateful for any advise on where baptism records for that church are held and how they can be reached. If anyone else is researching Farrow records going back to William Farrow and his family I will be glad to correspond with them

They married in 1875 and had at least three children, Annie Louisa b.25.1.1878, Mabel b.1881, and a boy?......The couple died very young, orphaning the children. At least one child, Mabel, was born in Ingatestone and Louisa's sister Annie Tetsell was also Essex born. I have always been told that William Miller Dowsett was a chemist.
