I am tracing the Hayden family back, and have got as far as William Hayden, born 1776 in Arkesden. He was a blacksmith who worked I think, in Arkesden and then moved to Henham. He married an Ann (possibly Prior). They had a son, John - a blacksmith in Henham, and grandson, Dan Hayden, also a blacksmith in Henham. I need more information on William Haydens parents and siblings please!

Spruson / Sprusen
I am descended from James and Martha Spruson (nee Sage) (my great great grandparents) who were born in Henham in 1838 and 1847 respectively. They had four children: Beatrice (my great grandmother), Arthur, Ethel and George. I would be very interested to talk to anybody who has information about earlier or coeval generations of the Sprison and Sage families. I have some information but it requires verification.
