Elizabeth lived at the above address until 2001. the house is currently empty. Do you know where James is dead or alive? Do you know what happened to Elizabeth. Looking for information re Fords Dagenham - my grandfather William George Henderson was head of Tractor Division for many years and had been working with Henry Ford in America on the Model T production line. I understand there were placques on the wall at Fords Plant in his memory but have written to Fords with no reply. Any help gratefully received

Joseph and Mary had 3 children all born in Barking Essex Cannot find any reference to his parents, can anyone help or point me in right direction.

looking for information on Jimmy pullen my gt granfather lived in Temple avenue as known as jimmy possible james he was a big drinker and owned a workshop/factory in chadwell heath called Brendon engineering making bits for planes in the war. family wont talk about him he was app a nightmare but he was a regular in the pubs around dagenham and chadwell heath, he was married to lilly and he had a daughter called peggy and two sons called peter and victor the later moved to canada had kids and moved back to crawley where he had two more pullen girls. jimmys father my gt gt grandad was also jimmy.died in a nurseing home in hornchurch in the 1050s. does any one know this lot they seem to have no records???

Can anybody give me any information about my father, Stanley Robert Gillis, who worked at Briggs' during WW2 ? He continued to work at the plant, (then Ford's) after the war, until he retired about 1974. He was a welder in Jigs and Fixtures Dept for more than 20 years, and was known always as 'Bob'. He died in 2002 aged 91.

Searching for information on Alfred William REVELEY, b. about 1873 in Bethnal Green, and his parents, William REVELEY (only known info is that he was a labourer) and Mary Agnes RENHAM, born about 1850 in Clerkenwell, London and later remarried to Samuel George SUMMERS and moved to Romford/Dagenham. Alfred William REVELEY married Elizabeth HOPE in 1897. They had five children: Agnes, John, Arthur, David and Moses. Alfred left Elizabeth and went to Wales. Much later in life he remarried - to Maria JEFFERY. They both died in Wales in 1957 and 1961. Maria had two children already, with the surname KING and JEFFERY, whom Alfred adopted. A third child, Ivy (who may or may not have been Alfred's, so may have been JEFFERY or REVELEY) later married a GIBSON, lived in the North East and was the notifier on Alfred's death certificate.

John, or Jack as he was known, was born 26 July 1902 in Great Lever, Lancs. He was the son of William and Amelia Birch. They had a pub, The Rose & Crown, in Glossop, Derbyshire from 1905. William died 1918, Amelia ran the pub next 4 yrs. She died at her son's house, 319 Gorse Way, Romford in 1946. Anyone know anything about Jack and what happened to him? He also had a brother Richard Stanley Birch, born 1898.
