Children: Arthur Gebhardt Leberecht, William Henry, Alfred Augustus Frederick, (Jane?) Edward, Elizabeth, Emma, Maria, & Ellen. Caroline is the daughter of William EAGLE and Sarah JAY of Belchamp; John is the son of Richard DEWHIRST, Schoolmaster of Horbury, W. Yorkshire. Would love to compare notes with anyone researching these lines.

I am trying place Harringtons in BSP, alot of the family were born there between 1836 - 1890's, I am trying to find street maps/planning maps so that i can see who lived where, can any one help? I am also looking for info on Henry and Harriet Harrington, 1841 census shows BSP but think they might have come over from Ireland, just don't know were ? Co. Cork. Has anyone come across them in there research?

In the 1881 Census my great grandfather Alfred Ambrose Coldham was registered at Church Farm, Wash Road, Belchamp St Paul, a farm of 118 acres with 3 men and 2 boys. I have been to Belchamp St Paul and looked at old maps but can find no trace of Church Farm. He was still there in 1891 with wife Florence and 6 children. There is also a link to the Green Man Inn Belchamp Otten where Florence's father Alfred Chinnery was publican in 1861. In 1877 when Florence married Alfred Coldham he was the publican and her father was a farmer. If anyone knows where the farm was (it may have been in Cavendish) or any other details of the Coldham or Chinnery families I would be delighted to hear from them

I am researching the possible father of William Deaves born Belchamp about 1861. I believe he was John Deaves, son of David. I have just discovered that John was buried in Belchamp St Paul 6 June 1863. I am trying to find out if John, unmarried in 1861, was married between 1861 and his death and who his wife was. William's birth is not registered (at least I can't find it) although there is another William born in Belchamp at the same time. I can't find my William in the 1861 or 1871 census, although I can in 1881 and 1901.Can anybody help?

My Scurry ancestors moved to BSP in about 1800, from Hundon. They were ag labs, and the last family member only died recently at BSP There were large families, and lots of inter family marriages, but TB took a heavy toll in the mid 1800's. I have extensive knowledge, but am always willing to share, and learn more.
I am trying to find information and photo of Westley Hall Cottages, Westley,at Belchamp St. Paul. William Flowers lived in one of these cottages in the late 1800s. Any information of him is also required please.
