My mothers surname before marriage was always thought to be Boal. She later found out that she was known as Robson Boal. The family lived in Silksworth and the men in the family all worked at the pit. My mother was Lillian and had a number of brothers and sisters including Vera Margaret Jack Sylvia and Jenny. I would love to know about the link with the Robson family name.
