red mail James Herbert Dixon
I am searching for info on James Herbert Dixon. I have a photo dated 1915 - signed 'Bert' giving his address as Jubilee House, Medomnsley Co. Durham. James Hebert is wearing a dinner suit and is holding a violin. He was born in 1886 in Accrington to John Dixon and Elizabeth Ellen (nee Pilkington). He seems to disappear after 1915. On the 1901 census he was living with his Aunt and Uncle, Thomas and Alice Pilkington in Blackburn. James Herbert (Bert) would have been my gr. uncle. Any information at all would be useful please.
