Hi I'm looking for information on the Hall, Graham and Brooks Family in West Hartlepool. David Hall was born in 1869 and married Harriet Ellen Brooks in 1891. Harriet was born in 1873. They had 4 children, I only Know two names Thomas Fredrick Hall (1899) and Amy Hall (1900). Thomas F Hall Married Louisa Graham in 1923 Louisa was born in 1900-1901. they had 2 children Berly Hall (1924) and Bertram Hall (1925). Bertram Hall immigrated to Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and lost contact with his sister. Louisa Graham's Father was William Graham and that is all I know of her PLease If you Have any information on these families I am eager to here from you.

My Pouncey ancestors were near Hartlepool ("North Tees")and Bishop Auckland in the 18th century and then mostly in Yorkshire - Ripon, Leeds (Beeston) and Bradford (Idle) - in the 19th/20th centuries. I beleive the eldest daughter was residing at 76 Stephen Street, West Hartlepool, with her grandmother, Elizabeth Lapton b.1840, her uncle George Lapton b.1876 general labourer, uncle Henry Lapton b.1882 blacksmith, during the 1901 census. I am unable to find Edwin Street and would like any information on the named above.

The Reece Family originally came Staffordshire and probably also arrived during the 1870's. The Trundleys arrived about this time too from Cambridgeshire. My gg-grandfather Thomas Dawson moved from North Shields to Hartlepool and lived in Hartlepool in at least about 1870-1880. He was a steam boat proprietor. His son, Thomas, and grandson William Walker Dawson both died in shipwrecks. I should be interested in anyone who knows about the steam boat companies operating from hartlepool in the 1870s & 1880s.
