red mail John Coe
My gt grandfather John Coe was born in Beamish(according to 1901 censu) c1844. He married(?) my gt grandmother Hannah Harrison but I have been unable to find any record of their marriage. They had 2 daughters, Sarah, born Hebburn 1883 and Lillie, born Heworth 1886. There was also possibly a 3rd daughter, Minnie. I have discovered a John Coe of similar age who birthplace is given as Hilltop in 1881 and 1871 Beamish, but I cannot be sure that this is the same person. This John married Elizabeth Hedworth in 1866 and was widowed by 1881. In both cases the occupation was given as Joiner. I would be grateful for any information which would help. Maureen
