red mail Robert Kirkpatrick 1778 - 1832
I am looking for information regarding Robert Kirkpatrick, (son of Thomas Kirkpatrick and Mary Hunter) said to be born in Glencairn Dumfries in 1778. On or about 1804 he married Janet Hunter and they relocated to Tynron where they raised 10 children, Robert, Helen, Thomas, James, Andrew, Ellen Margeret, Adam, Mary Hunter, Agnes Hunter & John Hunter. Robert supposedly died in a horse accident in 1832 at Craigencoon. In and around 1841 Janet and family relocated to Australia where she settled and eventually died in Carcoar NSW. Her children married and generally settled in NSW in Albury, Forbes, Carcoar & Sydney. I would appreciate it if anybody has information or is related with this family.
