Does anybody know the reason Mary Warren's sons John and George b1789 Dorchester used the surname Churchill as an alias? I have been trying to link George with the Churchills from Dorset but no luck so far. Perhaps they were adopted by the Churchill family when Mary died. Does anyone know when she died please?

Am looking for decendants of a William Durden who lived in Dorchester. His Son Ernest went to america in around 1913 with his wife but died 5 years later. I dont know if they had any children. Mary Warren lived in Dorchester in 1789. She had three children Mary,John and George b.1789. She was almost certainly not married and her sons later used Churchill as their surname.

Search for Samuel Fenton. Can anybody help me with a link to Samuel Fenton (gt gt gt grandfather). His occupation was Inn Keeper c1838 in the County of Dorset or Wiltshire. The only firm details I have of him are on his daughter Elizabeth’s (gt gt grandmother) wedding certificate. Elizabeth married George Fox in Minterne Magna Parish Church in October 1838. According to the 1851 census Elizabeth was born ABT 1818 in Salisbury Wiltshire. Thank you for any help you can give me.
