My great grandfather John Bartlett c1855-c1915 was born in Fordington/Netherbury. He moved to SE London as a young man working as a railway policeman. His parents were George and Jane Bartlett (nee Miller). George c1836-c1857 Netherbury, and Jane c1832-c1894 Dorchester area. They married in 1853. George Bartlett's parents were David Bartlett c1811-c1875 and Mary Bartlett (nee Bagg) c1813-c1851. Does anyone have further info or documentation/photos? Sue

Trying to find any information on William and Sarah. Sarah was born in Alton Pancras 1851 before marrying William. I am unable to trace their marriage which was prior to May 1883. One child that I know of Beatrice Minnie Young brn 1883 at Durngate Street, Fordington. Any assistance will be much apprecitate.

I am researching the Tilley family. My gx2 grandmother was Elizabeth Tilley, she married William Fox in 1854. I believe she had a sister Zipporah Tilley (baptised in Fordingron 20 October 1833 and married 1860.
