red mail Perry, Venn Ottery - (Venn Ottery - Devon)
My GGG Grandfather was John Smith Perry, born 1822 in Venn Ottery. I think his parents were William and Mary, and that William's parents were John Perry, who married Mary Lane on 9.3.1787 in Venn Ottery.Trouble is, there are zillions of Perrys from Venn Ottery in the mid to late 1700s and early 1800s; I've got loads of partial trees, but I'm missing various links. Is anyone else looking at the Perrys, and interested in swapping information, or who might have had more luck at linking up than me, please?

Henry Seward (or Seaward) married Mary Wilkin (or Wilkins) somewhere around 1813-1815. Mary Wilkin(s) came from St. Agnes Cornwall. Father was a miner and the whole family moved up from Cornwall. I believe Mary married Henry Seward in Tavistock because their first three (known) children were baptised there, but later ones in Plymouth. SEWARD / WILKIN marriage is not on the 3-Towns CD which covers all Plymouth & Devonport marriages of this period, so should be in Tavistock area logically.
