William was the son of Robert Leach (Morchard Bishop) who was the son of John (Morchard Bishop) My line is through Mary Comyns Leach, daughter of John Comyns Leach who married Elizabeth Bond. I am looking for any information or connections pertaining to an Elizabeth born in Woolfardisworthy, Devon c.1797. Her married name was Tonkin and she lived for a time in Kennerleigh, where she had at least two children: Elizabeth, who married an Issac Lock, and George Tonkin who stayed in Kennerleigh to raise his family with Elizabeth Wreford. Elizabeth died at Sandford aged 90 in 1887.
