PYLE / MOORE in Woodbury
Samuel Pyle the son of Joseph Pyle and Aiset Ridler was born in Woodbury Devon circa 1831. He married Catherine Eliza Moore (daughter of Richard) on 29th June 1854. Samuel was an agricultural laborer. Catherine a lace maker. I believe they had eleven children: Walter William, Sarah Ann, Joseph James, Thomas, Henry Frederick, Besse / Ella, Arthur, Samuel, Frank, Lewis and Lucy. Samuel's parents and surviving siblings all came to Australia between 1852 - 1858. Seeking contact with any family members in the UK. It is possible that Samuel was sentenced for larceny in 1849.
