He was the son of Thomas Henry Jellicoe born near Plymouth in 1811, died Southwold in 1898. My grandfather was Stanley Coleman Jellicoe born in Southwold in 1874, died in Totnes in 1961. I would be particularly interested in any information about Henry Palmer Jellicoe who lived at Loventor Manor near Berry Pomeroy.

John Wilson, solicitor's clerk, married to Honorine Seux in 1845, lived in Totnes, Devon in 1851 & later Abergavenny. They died in 1900. Their daughter Sarah married Philip Brady in 1873 & their youngest daughter, Mary, later married Edward Bradshaw of Liverpool. Any details, anyone? Many thanks.

I'm looking for any information about my great grandfather John Callard, although he was born in Devon he spent most of his life in Leicestershire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire. His wife Elizabeth Horsley (various spellings)was born in Lincolnshire and may have been married to ?? Yates. They had 4 sons; Edward b 1868, John Richard b 1875, Fred b 1878 (my Granddad) and Alfred birth date unknown. It is thought they had a daughter but no record of her could be found. Both John and Elizabeth died in Rugby. Has anyone information on theis family?

My maternal ancestors came from Totnes, John Perring born c1755 married Elizabeth Harvey in 1772.(My 4xGt Grandparents). Their son Peter was born in 1784 and wed Elizabeth Shapter in 1806. My Gt,Gt Grandfather Thomas Shapter Perring, their son, was born 20/8/1811married Elizabeth Preston in 1830 and their daughter Mary Shapter Perring was born on 27/6/1838 at 4, Warlands, Totnes. Greetings from Canada! I am looking for any information on a painter G.M. Giles of 56 Follaton, Totnes. I have a painting of his depicting High Street in Totnes with a partial view of the Butterwalk.
