red mail Andrew Parker of Topsham, Devon
I am looking for the birth of Andrew Parker described as "of Topsham" at his Exeter Cathedral marriage to Mary Western of Woodbury in 1719. No baptism of an Andrew Parker appears in the parish registers. Andrew was a builder and appears as an officer of the parish church council. His son Thomas built the road bridge at Countess Weir, and his grandson, Thomas Nosworthy Parker, builder and shipowner, owned the Passage Inn. I can't trace this family further back then Andrew's marriage, however. Any information, or enquiries about my research welcome.

red mail RACK, PUDNER
Looking for confirmation of the marriage of John RACK and Elizabeth PUDNER at Topsham on 9 November 1772, and the baptism of at least two daughters: Ann on 24 January 1778 and Jane on 28 August 1784, both recorded in the Topsham Presbyterian Independent Meeting Register. I believe Jane was buried at Topsham on 27 Sep 1786. There may also have been a third daughter, Sally or Sarah, born on 10 July 1781 as recorded in the registered of the Gulliford Presbyterian Meeting at Woodbury, and buried at Topsham on 30 August 1785. Ann, the only known surviving child, married a John PHILLIPS of the Wiltshire Militia at St Mary Major in Exeter on 4 June 1798 and migrated to Shalbourn in Berkshire sometime before 1803. However I do not know what happened to her parents. The burial of a Sarah RACK, a widow aged 69, also took place at Topsham on 8 March 1819. She may or may not have been connected, but the name RACK seems to have been very rare in Devon although rather more common in Lincolnshire. Can anyone help with these individuals, please?
