red mail Family name
I`m looking for information on the Hart family who, I believe, lived in Mortehoe in the 1870/80s. The 1891 census states that my grandmother, Annie Hart, was born in Morthow. I can`t find any trace of a Morthow and have been told that it was incorrectly spelt. The 1881 census states she was born in Westdown,Devon. She came to Birmingham and in 1915 gave birth to my Mother.Annie would have been born around 1874 and married William Francis Tregay at Delabole, Cornwall in 1893.Her parents were William and Ellen Hart. Her father was manager of the hotel in Delabole sometime in the 1880`s. If anyone can offer any help on this family, especially my grandmother,Annie Hart, I would be extremely grateful. Thanks,Bob
