I am trying to find out more about the Tuckett families that must have farmed near Chudleigh in the 18thC. Richard Tuckett born 1770 in Chudleigh was a Yeoman Farmer at Widdecome and Dunnabridge and had 15 children who we have managed to track down pretty well. His father, Henry b.1715 died in 1772 and he had married Elizabeth Dey 7th May 1749 in Kenn. They had 9 children but we know little about them. Where did they farm ? Henry's father , Henry was born in Chudleigh in May 1676 and married Juliana Comyn in 1703 at St. Petrock , Exeter. But where were they living and farming ?
