I'm looking for a Thomas Powell born 1904 Mile End, London who lived in Buckfastleigh. He lived on Fore Street, and may have been a publican. He may have been in his 80's when he died. My grandfather, Albert Jones (born Week St Mary, Whitstone, Cornwall in 1896) was a farmer and moved to Rill Farm around 1948, with his wife Gertrude, and sons Robert (my father), Andrew and Eric. Does anyone have any memories or info about my family's time at Rill, or know exactly when they moved there and when they left, which I believe was c1951? Before they were at Rill, they were at Stoneleigh Farm in Moreleigh, Nr Totnes which they'd moved to in 1942, from Whitwell Farm near Colyton. After they left Rill, they moved to Ware House, Buckfastleigh, and I have such lovely memories of time spent there when I was a child. Both my grandparents died at the beginning of the 1970s and Ware House was sold in 1973. If anyone has any memories, I'd love to hear them. Sue
