Children known: Robert (1827-1827), Mary Anne Davey (1828 -?), Thomas Davey (1830 - 1895), Elizabeth Davey (1832 - ?), Susan (abt 1834 - ?), Robert Davey (1836 - 1903?), Louisa Davey (1838 - ?), John (1840 - ?), George (1842 - ?), Emma Davey ??, Albert (abt 1849 - ?). Lived Dartmouth probably between 1836 and 1849. Family in 1851 census in West Teignmouth 'Globe Lane'. Thomas Davey SMITH emigrated to Australia abt 1853 - 1856. Some possible connections (not yet verified) Ellen MARCHANT, Richard Stevens SMITH, VENTON. Possibly Albert moved to Gloucester.

My grandmother was Elsie Louisa Stevens b.1896, daughter of George and Harriet(Potter)Stevens. She and siblings Edith, Mabel, George, Lily, Tom, Sarah and one other(I think) were all born in Bishopsteignton. Elsie married a soldier, George Albert Tabor and had one child, my mother, Violet Edith, before leaving for Canaada in 1918. Does this ring any bells out there? Looking for relatives!
