WILLIAM SMEDLEY married HANNAH BROWN in 1809 at Duffield, son's JOHN and ROBERT christened at Turnditch, 1810 and 1812. Lived in Windley and moved to Sheffield in the 1830's. I can trace Hannah's line through the Beardsley's to Joseph Ride, christened 1708. Can anyone give me a lead as to the parents of William, please ?

Does anyone have information on George and Mary Bradley, living in Turnditch in 1841, aged 70 and 65. Possibly married in Matlock in 1804, Mary's maiden name possibly Buxton.

Does anyone have info on a marriage between (male) Allestree and (female) Furneaux c1520. Groom had a brother John alive in 1538. Bride is described as "heiress of Turnditch". Any info on these and their ancestors very welcome

Joseph Radford
Joseph Radford married Esther Walker in 1820 at Kirk Ireton. They lived in Turnditch until at least 1829 when their last daughter, Ann was born. Their other children were John,Fanny and possibly Samuel, Joseph and Mary. I believe that Joseph was a publican in Turnditch. Does anyone have any information about any of these Radfords?

Remarried bef. the 1891 census and living back in Litchurch and married to Harriet withyounger son William 2yrs old. any info would be most wecome.
