I am researching my grandmothers (maternal) father's side of the family, she always told me that her ancestors were from france via poland? how did they get to Derby then/ surname ORME but she always told me her grandfather told her it was origanally L'ORME, and they they were of Jewish origin. I think I've traced them back to the late 1700's but there seems to be two seperate families with the same names both christian names and surnames and no hint as to their religous or cultural heritage
I am looking to get hold of the book, Englands last revolution, Pentrich 1817 by john Stevens and also a copy of Pentrich Revolution by John Neal any help most welcome Sylvia

Looking for any information on the family of Joseph Trickett, b. December 28, 1809 in Pentrich, possibly son of John Trickett & Ann. Joseph married Mary Ann Russell, (said to be a cousin of some sort to Bertram Russell), b. July 25, 1810 in Stretham, Cambridgeshire. They were married May 19, 1833 in Stretham. Their children, born in St. Nicholas parish, Deptford, Kent, were Harry Robert, Mildred, Ann (m. Tracy Robert Wyles in Virginia), and Edith b. in Spaulding, West Lincolnshire (m. John Siddons in New York).

I am looking for any details of William Redfern (1815 - 1889) who had a family business as a corwainer or bootmaker at 17 Church St. Pentrich. He was married to Alice Beighton and had 6 children - Joseph, Ann Elizabeth, John, Emma, Samuel and Bertha. If the building at 17 Church St. is still there, I would be very grateful for any photos of it.
