red mail Elizabeth BOOTH born c 1800
I'm looking for information about Elizabeth BOOTH who married Adam OLDFIELD on 27th September 1824 in Hope, Derbyshire, and had 3 children (William, Adam and Elizabeth) between 1825 and 1832. I know this was Adam's second marriage, but don't know anything about Elizabeth or her family details at all. Thanks!
red mail ARMITRIDER, Hope
I am looking for information on MARIA/MARY ARMITRIDER, daughter of WILLIAM/GULIEMLI ARMITRIDER and ELIZABETH/ELIZABETHA ?. She married WILLIAM/WILLMUS FOX in Hope, Derbyshire on 2 May 1686 and had two children (Matthew and Adam) - both born at Beristall and then christened at Hope. I believe Maria/Mary was born in Castleton and had a brother called Thomas, but don't know anything else about the family.
red mail FOX (or FFOX)/PEARSON, Hope
I am looking for information on GODFREY FOX/FFOX and ANN PEARSON who married on 4 January 1753 in Hope, Derbyshire and went on to have 10 children there between 1755 and 1778. I believe that Godfrey's parents may have been ADAM FOX and HANNAH YATES, and that Ann's could be HUGH PEARSON and ANN HOW.
red mail REDFERN/BARKER, Hope, Derbyshire
I'm looking for information about ELIZABETHE (Elizabeth?) REDFERN and JOHANNIS (John?) BARKER who were married in Hope on 4 October 1691 and subsequently had 5 children - all born in Abney but christened in Hope - (Robert, Hannah, William, Maria and Sara). There's a possibility that both Elizabethe(e) and John/Johannis were born round about the 1650/55 period.

I'm looking for information on HELLEN/ELLEN CHAPMAN who married WILLIAM BARKER on 24 February 1724 in Hope, Derbyshire and went on to have 6 children there (John, Easter/Ester, Ellen/Hellen, Mary, William and Elizabeth) between 1727 and 1739.
red mail Railways in Derbyshire -Hope
Are there any records of employment for the derbyshire railways? I am searching for William Henry Collin b. 1869 he was a railway laborer and married Martha Ede in 1893 in Edale End Hope.
red mail Roworth.Rowarth - Thornhill
I would appreciate any information relating to the Roworth, Rowarth family who lived and worked at Ryecroft Farm, Thornhill, Hope. I’ve traced my family back to Priestcliffe, Monsal Dale, where Anthony Roworth was born in 1650 before moving to Thornhill in the late 17th C. where several generations of the family lived. My Gt.Gt. grandfather , William Roworth eventually left the farm, after marrying Sarah Wright of Bamford, to work for the Clay Cross Co. as a colliery winding engine driver.
red mail William Royse
Searching for information on William Royse (born 1838, of Hope, Derbyshire). I have plenty of information on his life in New Zealand, but would like to know more about his family in Britain. His mother was Rachel Royse (nee Darwent) (born about 1812, Thornhill Moor, Derbyshire); his father was probably Isaac Royse, although I've also found it recorded as William Royse. William Royse left Britain for Australia and New Zealand (he probably went to Australia first; I am unsure when he left, but he was in NZ as early as 1861). He married Catherine McRae in Adelaide or Melbourne; his children were all born in NZ.
red mail Gould. Melland
Searching for the birth/baptism of William Melland Gould c1788 probably Hope area, he died there in 1846. Possibly had a sister Elizabeth Melland Gould c1794 who married Robert Kay. Any information gratefully received

red mail Adam Kyrke (Kirk)
Searching for Adam Kyrke (Kirk) b. 1608 (Hope) and his wife Mary ____, b. 1603 perhaps from Hope, also. They had 12 children, the eldest being Godfrey, b. 1630; d. 1705. All other Kirk children were born in Derbyshire, probably Hope, between 1632 - 1652. Godfrey married Jeanne Jacques (Jaques?) in 1651. Their eldest son, John Kirk, was b. 14 Aug 1660 in Alfreton, Derbyshire. Any information, especially about Adam and Mary and their previous relatives, would be much appreciated.
red mail Rose George
I have traced a George Rose from Sheffield who moved to Abney near Hope and married Millicent Townsend in 1803. The Rose family in this area then appears somewhat confused as I keep finding a Ruth Rose with children, no named father but another Ruth with a marriage to George Eyre 1830. George's son, also George Rose, is shown as marrying Barbara Bagshaw in 1836 but she is shown in the 1841 census as still being Bagshaw and living at home. Any information anywhere ?
