I am looking for information about MARGARET ASHBURNE who married RODGER YATES on 25 July 1684 in Hartington. I believe their parish priest sometimes wrote their and their childrens' names in Latin (Rogerus Yates/Margritae or Margreta Ashburne). They had 6 children in either Hartington or Hope between 1685 and 1700, but I have no information about either of their own parents.

I have been looking at Wardles of Hartington and wonder if Isaac bap. 1723 is the Isaac I traced back thru Sheffield to Stony Middleton.(This has yet to be proved). Isaac in S.M. married Sarah Hallam in 1747. His son Joseph went to Sheffield, and the family descended thru 3 Henrys to my maternal grandmother, Evelyn, born in 1897.

Sampson Grindey (grinday) married an Ann gee 23 Nov 1823 in Hartington. Who were Sampsons Parents? Ann was daughter of Thomas Gee and Alice any info on them would be wonderful. Sam and Ann had at least one child Moses chr 15 feb 1824 were there anymore? I would appreciate any info as I have hit a 'brick wall' as they say.
