Joseph Wood born in Hull, on his marriage to Madeleine Smart (B. Middle Rasen Lincs) 1876, the marriage cert. showed his father William Wood Chesterfield. William's occupation was a Fish and grocery merchant. He resided in 20 Charles Street Hull formany years with his family he was on the 1861 '71 '81 census. His wife was called Martha Shearer born in Cottingham (Hull) who I have never found on any census (except for after her marriage to William) or marriage cert.
