I am trying to find information on JANE HARRIS, born around 1922 and last known address as Wrexham Post Office. During WW2 Jane had some sort of connction with the Allied airbase at Llanwrog. I don't know what that connection was. In 1944 she was aged about 22years old and met a young Australian flying officer named Alan Walker who was undergoing training at Lanwrog before heading to Bomber Command in England. Alan was trained as a radio operator on the massive Landcaster Bombers. The two became engaged and Jane was to follow him back to Australia once her papers had been approved. However, back in Australia alone, Alan met another woman and became engaged to took him a while to get the courage to break the news to poor Jane. I'm trying to trace details on Jane Harris, Llanwrog airbase or the Aussies that served/trained there. Is Jane still alive? Does she still have relatives in the area? can anyone fill in more of the puzzle? Thanks Erika
