red mail Looking for Sarah Booth nee Edwards
I am looking for the death of my g.g. grandmother Sarah BOOTH. She was born Sarah EDWARDS to John and Mary EDWARDS in Llangollen in 1813. She married John ROBERTS in Wales, he died 1849. In 1853 she married my g.g.grandfather Thomas Bentley BOOTH in Manchester. In 1854 they had a son William and then they all disappear. They are not on the 1861/71 census. In 1875 William marries in Hull and is a fisherman. No more records until the death of Thomas Bentley BOOTH in 1876 in Limehouse London. I would like to know if anyone else is researching this family please.

red mail Davies family in Langollen
I am looking for any information on a Samuel Davies b. ~1839. I have information that goes backwards in time, that I believe to be correct. 1911- England census for Liverpool -Samuel Davies, Master Tailor is 72 years old born in Glynlo?nog? (hard to read-his own writing?!) Did the name for Llangollen change to Glynlo?nog? I have no experience with Wales genealogy. This is my sister-in-law's side. 1891 - England Census for Liverpool, Samuel Davies, 62, b. Langollen, Denbigh, Tailor 1881 - England census for Toxteth Park, Lancashire (Liverpool), Samuel Davies, 52, b. Denbighshire, Tailor 1871 - England census for Reading Berkshire - Samuel Davies, 42, b. ?Doubei?, Llangollen, Tailor. 1861 - England census for Westminister, Middlesex, England - Samuel Davis, 22, b. Llangollen, Denbig., Tailor BUT in 1851, I don't know if he is in Denbighshire or moved to Westminister. There are 7 different possibilities in the England census for a Samuel Davies b. ~1839 in Wales and a couple in the Wales census. One possibility is with mother Margaret and he is 11 b. in Llansilin?? and they live in Shropshire. Probably not the same town!!! And 1841 ????? Not sure of parents' names so I'm at a loss. Any assistance or direction that you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
red mail Cat Roberts and Thomas Hughes
My Great Great Grandparents were Catherine Roberts and Thomas Hughes. Catherine's father was supposedly a blacksmith and sawyer in Glyndyfrdwy, named John Roberts. Catherine was born in 1842 in Gwyddelwern, Thomas born in Corwen in 1847. I wonder if there is any family doing geneology research that might know of their plight! May God bless you!!! I am at a dead end, yet want to know more about their life and their love! As it seems , Catherine was not allowed to marry Thomas Hughes, being forbidden by her Father, John Roberts. It also looks as though she may have defied her father by having Thomas Hughes children out of wedlock until she was able to marry him after her Fathjer's death. Can anyone help?

red mail Llangollen Parish Divisions
From Reports of Charity Commissioners Vol 32 c1840's Parish of Llangollen 160 This parish is divided into three traians or districts called Llangollen Traian, Trevor Traian, and Traian y Glyn. They have one church in common, with a churchwarden to each. The two former, lying contiguous, unite in raising rates and paying their poor; but the traian of Glyn, being separated by an intervening mountain, raises its rates separately, and pays its own poor; and removals take place from one portion of the parish to the other. The same rule of separation is generally observed in the application of the charities. Each traian contains several townships.
