Her father was David Griffiths, labourer, and she was born in Abergele. She married James Redwood in Manchester in 1850. Her mother might have been Margaret Hughes (IGI). Any futher details of any family member would be very welcome.

I am searching for details of a Mrs Hadland who lived in Abergele at some time (date unknown) She gave details to a reporter from a Millom newspaper about her grandfather John Lloyd Burn and her father Solomon Birkett who lived and worked in Millom. They were both involved in mining and worked at the Hodbarrow Mines - circa 1870/1880's. Nothing is known about Mrs Hadland so any help would be most welcome. Many thanks.

any info appreciated on JANE ELLEN JONES born about 1879 to parents of DAVID AND ELLEN JANE JONES. In the 1891 census lived at 1 High Street, Abegele, Denbighshire, Wales. At that address as well was JOHN W JONES about 20, MAGGIE v JONES 5, SARAH A JONES 14. I bleive another son David was born 1893. My interest is of the Jane who had a daughter in 1899, named her Meinwen Jones. Jane's mother was present at the birth of Meinwen. In the 1901 census Meinwen was living with her grandparents, but am unable to find what happend to JANE. I am told by her only living grandaughter that Jane went onto to marry, to whom unknown and have other children. I am unable to find any info on David & Ellen, when they died etc. If any of these names mentioned above in your tree, I would be very happy to hear from you.

Any info please John Jones c. 1833 born North Wales I have 1871 thru 1901 Censuses. Deceased by 1901. 1891 census, born Abergele Denbighshire, railway porter, married, living in Barton, Cheshire. 1879 census, born North Wales, farmer, married, living at Tyn y Ffrith, Llanfair Talhaiarn There were three children. The youngest, a son Owen, was born Feb. 1869 at Tyn y Ffrith. The two older children may or may not have been his by birth. Thanks!

Any help please,with family search for families of Margaret Davies (b. 1885) who married Thomas Parry (b.1882 Nant,Conwy) at Llanrwst Registry Office in 1906, children William John; Robert, who became a caretaker at a school in Abergele, Emily; Enid; Thomas and Glyn. Sadly, now all have passed away. Connections to Llansannan; Dwygyfylchi; Llanrwst; Conwy. Margaret Davies' father was John, and she had a brother Thomas, a shepherd, who lived in Llansannan. Thomas had a daughter, Jennie (Jones) who I found out recently also sadly passed away in the '70's.
