A daughter Jane Anne beaty died at 11 years in 1884. All the children were born at Arthuret, various dates from 1861 to 1871 One son called Alexander beaty moved to Crail in Fife Scotland where he became Station Master Walter beaty was born in Bewcastle in 1833 Catherine McBurnie Father James Mc Burnie, married Ann Swan in 1838 in Torthorwald, Dumfriess.Scotland, but moved to this area & died i think in Arthuret, in 1880.
