Thomas Sidney Nicholls 1886 Battersea
1901 has him on Mount Edgecomb Training ship and no records after that can be found to date, His Brother James Nicholls was killed in the Battle of Jutland and sisters address provided at 38 St Johns Hill Grove. His sister married John George Bowing. and Emily Nicholls took on the Bowing name. Their child was John Marcus Bowing to married Dorothy S Wright.

I am currently researching my Grandfather Beresford Cazenove Thorne 1901-1988 he was the second child of Alice Ann Elizabeth Garner/thorne and Fleet Engineer Charles William Thorne who apparently lived in St Germans. The first born son was Leslie Vivian Thorne who married Amy Cousins but died in the second world war and was buried in Egypt, they had 2 daughter June and patricia. I haven't been able to trace what happened to the family of Leslie Thorne. If anyone could help I would be grateful. Thank you.

The 1841 census states that Nicholas & Anne Riddle and family were living in St. Germans. One of their children, Elizabeth, who was 15 at the time (born in Redruth) eventually emigrated to Australia, marrying in 1850 in Adelaide. Any information as to when she actually left, the ship she sailed on, and who she travelled with (if anybody) would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for Harriet Maria Sammells or Samels. I believe she was born in Antony, Cornwall c1834. She married William Henry West in 1855. He was in the Royal Navy on board HMS Vengeance at the time. Harriet's father was John an ag lab. Any info for Harriet's family would be useful. I found Harriet in the 1861 census under Samuel. Her name was definitely Sammels. I believe that Harriet's grandfather married in to the Bastard family.
