My father boxed Willie Spears at a local clubin the early 1920's--I think it was in Alloa.

A distinguished British General, commander in chief in the West Indies 1795-97, when he took Grenada, Demerara, and Trinidad, and relieved St. Vincent. He was mortally wounded 21st March 1801

Am searching for any information about a Robert Henderson born 1812-15 at Sauchie Clackmanonshire Scotland and married Barbara Drysdale McGregor at Alloa - Clackmanonshire in 1839 in a Presbyterian Church. They had three children, Walter, David (my great grandfather) and Janet, all born in Scotland. Walter was 10, David 8 and Janet 6 when they arrived in Australia in 1852. The name of the ship was Kate and it left Liverpool on Aug 28th 1852 and arrived in Sydney in December of that year.
