red mail Benjamin and Mary
I think I have traced my family back to 1767. I believe that Benjamin is my 4th Great Grandfather, he married Mary Carter from Davenham in 1803. Their sons were John b 1805, Benjamin b 1807, Willaim b 1808, Samuel b 1813, George b 1815 and Enoch b 1818. I would love to go back even further if anyone has more information on this family. Enoch was my 3rd Great Grandfather. He moved to Congleton between 1868 and 1870.

Can someone please give me any information as to the exact the location of Pedley's Row in Wheelock? I have looked at local maps from the 1800's and cannot find it yet it features in the 1861, 1871 and 1881 census. My great great grandfather Thomas Dodd and his wife Julia lived there when the 1881 census was done. Thomas worked at the local Alkali works and they married at Christ Church, Wheelock in 1878.
