red mail Burkhill-Hough
My gt grandma b 1874 in Kingsley Ches had the surname Hough. However her father John b 1839 was in the will of his father John b 1812- 1879 as John Burkhill-Hough and his other 5 siblings listed all as Burkhill-Hough. This seems to have originated from John 1812 father a Joseph Burkhill b 1792. His father was Richard Burkhill b 1763 d 1791 and mother Sarah nee Parsonage. Joseph was born after Richards death. His mother Sarah Burkhill later married again to a Thomas Hough and had 4 more sons to him. Joseph being brought up as Thomas Hough's extra son. Does anyone know of this double name as I really think my gt grandma should be a Burkhill by blood ancestry and not a Hough.

red mail TOLLETT/TOLLITT, Mary - c.1852
Looking for information on Mary TOLLETT (also spelt Tollitt) born c.1852 in Kingsley, Cheshire (I'm not 100% on Mary's place of birth but think it was Kingsley or somewhere near). Mary was the daughter of Joseph TOLLETT (born c.1827 in Frodsham) & Elizabeth TITTLE (born c.1826 in Mouldsworth or Tarvin). I know of 7 of Joseph & Elizabeth's children: James c.1850, Mary c. 1852, Rebecca c.1856, Ellen c.1860, Elizabeth c.1863, Emma c.1865 and Albert c.1871. Mary TOLLETT married Robert PARKINSON in 1876 in Westhoughton, Lancashire. Any information would be great. Cheers.
