Trying to get information rearding my ggg grandfather William Hankinson born abt 1812 at Daresbury. In certain records he has been incorrectly transcribed as "Hankey". His wife was Elizabeth but I have no maiden mame for her. His occupation was a tailor. I have no details of his parents. One of his sons, John Hankinson my gg grandfather, was born in 1842,

They produced the following children, SAMUEL b 1842, WILLIAM b 1844, PETER b 1846, SARAH ELIZABETH b 1848, JAMES b 1851, THOMAS b 1853, EDWARD b 1855, ALFRED b 1858, JOHN b 1861 and HARRY b 1863 My line is via EDWARD who married ELLEN MONKS from Appleton at Stockton Heath in 1878 and their son, my grandfather also EDWARD b 1886 at Wilderspool. Geroge Banner b. 18 Apr 1799 in Daresbury. He was a stone mason. He moved to Pendleton, Salford by 1860 ? son of Samuel Banner and Frances Jones, but need to trace the Banner family in Daresbury and surrounding villages.
