red mail Stubbs Family Cheshire
Has anyone got any old photos of the Buglawton area as a lot of my husbands ancestors , the Stubbs came from this area and Gawsworth. Any information about these areas would be appreciated as we had not heard of either until we started researching his tree. They seem to have lived in this area since at least the 1500s. A re-curring Christian name for the men is Henshall or sometimes Henshaw.

Washington Family from Buglawton
I am looking for any decendants of John Washington born 1819c. He had at least 5 children, John 1849, Charles 1852, Mary 1854, Ann 1856 and Hannah 1858. His wife was called Ann. If you have any information please get in touch.
red mail Harthan
I am interested in the family of Samuel Harthan a silk throwster. I believe he had a daughter Harriet but haven't yet found her baptism. Harriet married William Royle in 1837 but there is a possible Harthan family in Biddulph in the 1841 census with head Samuel and wife most likely Judith. Later censuses suggest most of the children were born in Buglawton. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who might know about this family. Thanks.
red mail Bromfield, Bramfield, Bronfield, Crank
I am trying to locate information on the Bromfield family descended from Charles Bramfield born Congleton in 1798. He married Frances Lomas and died in 1885. One of his sons, Charles, born 1840 was my great great grandfather,he died in 1876 leaving two children, Frances and Harry (family name Bromfield by that time)who were split up when his widow, Sarah Jane, remarried. Nothing is known of what became of Harry or a further son, Thomas Crank born March quarter 1879, Sarah had to her second husband, George Crank. Any information gratefully received.
