I am researching the Hulme family in Audlem who I believe were labourers/gardeners. The earliest ancestors I am certain about are Thomas and Mary Hulme both born c1798. I would like to find out the link between Thomas and other contemporary Hulmes in Audlem. The name has variations in spelling in the parish register and on the censuses.

I am trying to establish exactly were Henry Sherwin was born. Most Census Records indicate Audlem Cheshire, but at least one shows Hallham! Henry was a Cordwainer and later became a farmer ib Staffordshire {Bradley and Haughton. He was married to Martha Orme of Stafford and one of their son, Albert Henry was my maternal grandfather.
