red mail Thomas Thompson
I have a marriage on 17th August 1847 of Thomas Thompson b. Ipstones 1825 and Mary Biddulph b. Biddulph 1829, in the parish church in the parish of Astbury. Fathers names are Thomas Biddulph (stonemason) and the late Thomas Thompson (labourer). I have been searching for the late Thomas Thompson for 3 years with no success. The marriage certificate is the only record i have of the late Thomas Thompson and none for his wife. Any help/info appreciated.
red mail Charlotte Stanier
Charlotte Stanier, born 1791, Astbury, Mother Hannah. No name given for father. I have found 8 possible siblings for Charlotte, births ranging from 1782-1804 and all births at Astbury and parents names given as William Stanier and Hannah. I also have found a marriage between Hannah Wood and William Stanier at Astbury in 1782. Is this Charlottes family? Or am I hoping against hope? Charlotte married William Frost on 1/11/1808. I ask as I was told in the past, by a researcher that Charlotte was illegitimate.
