Does anyone know of either John Barlow born c1795 in Ashton Upon Mersey, Cheshire, married to Nancy, or William Garner born c1785 - 1791 in Sale, Cheshire married to Mary or Hannah? The Barlows children were Ellen and Hannah, the Garners produced Job and Charles. Job married Ellen in 1841and lived in Northenden.

My branch of the halsall family settled in ashton upon mersey in the early 1900s after origionating in prescot, then yorks,and notts. Joe halsall 1910 married ada aldred 1907. ada's family were from the village and can be traced back through the 1800s. their tree contains the potts family and the hamnett family. also possibly the brownhill family. feel free to contact me to exchange information. graham lockett
