Searching for information on the family and descendents of George Lindsay (b. 1825 in Cavan) and his wife, Catharine Morrow (b. 1839). George's father was Isaac Lindsay. His mother may have been named Jane. George's siblings were Martha and Mary Ann and Robert. Catharine's father was John Morrow. Mother's name is unknown. Catharine may have had a brother named James who migrated to Canada as well. George and Catharine's children born in Cootehill, Cavan were: Mary Ann, John, William George, and James Arthur David. Family stories maintain that George and at least a couple of his children were baptized in Coroneary (?) Cavan. The family migrated to Ontario Canada around 1878 but apparently retained ownership of a parcel of land for at least a short time after their migration, when some of the couple's children returned to Ireland to sell it. Any information or leads on the Lindsay and Morrow families, their ancestors, descendents or living relatives would be immensely appreciated! :-)
