I have found Rees Evans born 1744 in LLangunnor , he married Margaret Thomas on 25/11/1765, she was born 1741.They had a son David Evans born 1786 Conwil, he married Sarah Davies b 1790 llangendierne. can any one help with rees and any other children?
Hello from Australia. I believe I have traced my gggrandmother after many years. She was married here at Llangunnor on 31.12 1831 william evans of llanddarog to Rachel Jones. They lived in Eastern valleys of Monmouthshire ,Blaina,Rhymney.William dies befoe the 1851 census was taken Rachel later married Richard Morris.Livinginto her 90's.Rachel had several children with William. Margaret born abt 1832/3 in Blaina,Mary in 1836/7, Sarah 1840 and David in 1842,these were born in Rhymney. Does anyone relate to this family,would love to hear from you veronica downunder

On this date, Robert McAdam (bachelor, Father: Robert Kilby McAdam, farmer) married Martha Wollacott (widow, Priory Street Carmarthen, Father:John Griffiths, blacksmith). They were married at The Parish Church in the Parish of Saint Peter in the Borough of Carmarthen. My question : WHAT WAS THE NAME OF ROBERT McADAM'S FARM ?

Elizabeth Jones appears on the 1881 Cenus living at 2 Bridgend House Llangunnor. Born in 1866. Her father Thomas Jones was a Flannel Weaver and her Mother was Jane Jones. Jane was 44 in 1881 and born in St Peters. Three brothers of Elizabeth also lived at the same address : Llewellyn Jones then age 14, John Jones, then age 9 - and James Jones then age 6 - Also sister Mary J Jones age 3. In the next Cenus Thomas Jones is now a Widower living at Tygwyn Cottage Llangunnor and lives with DaughterMary J Jones. He is described as a Woolen Weaver age 62 - working from home. Mary is now age 22 and a Post Messenger and unmarried. Elizabeth is now living at Rhiwderin South Wales and married to George James. At her funeral in 1950 a brother arrived - family say he lived in Caerleon - Any further information on any member of this family would be gratefully recieved. See also James - Rhiwderin
