red mail Thomas Rees
I am seeking information about my great-great grandfather Thomas Rees (a labourer). I have very little information on him ecept that his son William (born c1830) married Anne Bevan (daughter of William Bevan) and they eventually settled on Gelliwriddon (William Bevan's farm) and raised their children including my grandmother Sarah Eleanor Rees. I have all the information from the 1861 census onwards for William Rees, but nothing before he married Anne in 1853. Thomas's wife's name might have been Mary.
red mail Rees/Bevan/Williams
I am researching my family from pen.y.banc and Ammanford. My great-great grandfather, William Bevan, farmed land in Pen'y'banc, called Gelliwreiddon. He was married to Jane and had four daughters, the eldest, Ann, married a William Rees, a collier, and had 9 children, including my Grandmother, Sarah Eleanor Rees, who married, firstly, Jacob Jones and had two children, William John and George, she later married Robert Williams, and had three children, Annie-Jane, Nellie and Thomas Bevan (my father). Robert then drank away the money which Sarah wanted to use to buy another 100 year lease on Gelliewriddon and the family was evicted from the farm. If any one has any information on William Rees or Robert Williams, I would be very grateful.

red mail Lettice of Llandebie
My great great Gran, Lettice, was born in Llandebie, Carmarthenshire, around 1815 and married William Williams of Newfoundland Farm, Bethlehem, Llangadog. They went to live at Love Lodge (Llety Gariad), Fairfach, Llandeilo Fawr (Carmarthenshire) where they farmed for many years. There is some possibility that her maiden name was Morgan. She could have been baptised originally as Elizabeth Lettice/Laeticia (Llannon/Llanedi parish?), but certainly lived and died as Lettice. Can anyone shed some light? I’d be interested to trace her family.
red mail Davies - Glynhir Mill
Thomas Davies lived at Glynhir Mill from his birth in 1850, and after marrying Ann in 1875, worked there and had 11 children, 10 of whom survived into adulthood.
