red mail Louis Anderson born about 1821
Any information on this ancestor of mine. He married Mary A. Hitchen from Leverington in 1854, and a son (Robert) was born in the same year. There seems to be confusion about Louis surname which may also have been Hitchen. Thanks

Thomas Osborn married Elizabeth Stalham 27 May 1811, Wiggenhall St. Mary Magdalen, Norfolk. First child (we think) Richard born April/May 1811 married Maria Selby 19 April 1836, Leverington, Cambridgeshire, England. Second child Thomas born November 1812, Wiggenhall St. Mary Magdalen, Norfolk. Richard and Maria settled in Australia in 1853. red mail Scrimshaws
I have traced my ancestry back to the village of Leverington and would welcome contact from any others with information on this family - of particular interest is a William Scrimshaw born about 1838, who on his marriage certificate gives his father as John Scrimshaw (a farmer), and its possible he is the William found in the 1841 census aged 3 living with a lady called Eliz Scrimshaw (aged about 20 - school teacher) and a Harriet Scrimshaw aged 4 and a Sarah Jane Scrimshaw aged 12. In 1851, I believe this William is living with George & Charlotte Scrimshaw and is given as their nephew - and remains with them in the 1861 census and then he marries Sarah Ann Merrikin and in 1871 census is in Clenchwarton area and then from 1881 census he is living in Gedney, Lincolnshire. Any help would be very much appreciated
Bridget Berry
I have traced my female line back to Bridget Berry, who married Jeremiah Hills in Leverington in 1768. Their daughter Martha Hills married John Aney in 1795, and their daughter Susanna Aney married Thomas Smith in 1818. Does anyone have any more information on these families? 'm having trouble getting further back than Bridget. Jeremiah died in 1772 and Bridget Hills later married a Mr Bell.
