red mail Peck family in Histon and Elsworth
I am planning to visit Histon and surrounds in early September 2017 to try and boost my knowledge of my Peck family. Peck appears to be a common name in Histon which could help or not my research. I am reasonably confident that William Peck b 1819 in Histon is one of mine. He married Sarah Watts (I think) in Dec 1884. It's a long way from my home in Oz to Histon and I obviously need to as switched on as I can be about the Pecks before I get to the village. Is anybody researching the Pecks of Histon?
red mail Charles Peck b 1848 Histon

red mail Histon Hobsons
I have been researching the HOBSON family who originated in HISTON for many years now. My HOBSON family go back to Robert who died in 1612, and have an unbroken line to my mother who died in 1996. there are still questions to be answered though and I would appreciate any "cousins" contacting me so that we can share notes.
red mail PAPWORTH from Histon, Cambridge
I am looking for descendants of William Papworth, born in 1798 in Histon. He had a grandson - Thomas - who was born in 1868. He appears in the censuses for 1871 & 1881, but I can't find him after that. Do you know where he might be?
I have traced my family history in Histon as far back as Robert Hobson born about 1579. The Hobsons did not leave Histon until the 1800,s and so I both ask for any help on the Hobsons or on Histon in general and also offer help to anyone searching in this area.
