Researching DALLINGER family links to CHALLIS & CHAMBERLAIN families in Reading & Wokingham. Edwin, his twin, Emily and their younger brother, Frederick Chamberlain arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia in May 1901 as Middlemore Home Children. About 1921, Edwin married again to Mary Elizabeth Challis b. 5 December 1901 in Reading & Wokingham, Berkshire, England - d/o Lavinia Ann Dallinger (b. March 1877 married 1901) William John CHALLIS, Sr. Edwin & Mary returned to Canada in 1922. Emily and Edwin Chamberlain descendants have spread across Canada.
